"Half Decent Proposal"

Marge starts loosing tons of sleep because of Homer's snoring. Out of ideas on getting sleeps she decides to spend a night at Patty & Selma's. Watching television they find out that Artie Ziff, Marge's ex-boyfriend had become one of the richest men in America thanks his newest invention. Patty and Selma encourage Marge to e-mail Artie and she eventually gives in and let's them send him a message, except they spice it up a little. Artie receives the message and responds by flying his helicopter on the Simpsons' lawn. The family goes with Artie and they spend the day on his yacht. Artie then gives the Simpsons an unbeatable offer. He offers them one million dollars just to spend one weekend alone with Marge and he promises that there would be no funny stuff (basically making out or sex). Marge and Homer tell Artie no at first, but then when they find out the money could pay for Homer to get surgery to stop his snoring, they decide to do it. Artie decides to give Marge the prom that she never got, but always wanted. It starts off great, but then when Artie asks Marge for a little peck on the cheek, he gives her a passionate kiss that Homer sees while spying on them. Marge pushes him away, tells him the deal's off, and leaves him. After returning home, Marge finds out that Homer has run away to West Springfield, a piece of land three times the size of Texas used for oil rigging. Homer decided to run off with Lenny to work on a specific rig that is a death trap. With no where else to turn, Marge asks Artie for use of his helicopter to find him. They eventually do just as the rig catches on fire and save Homer and Lenny. Now the only problem left to solve was Homer's snoring. Luckily, Artie's newest, newest invention was capable of helping stop Homer's snoring.

Jon Lovitz guest stars as the voice of Artie Ziff. Marcia Wallace guest stars as the voice of Mrs. Krabappel.

This is episode #279 in the Simpsons series. It is Episode #10 in Season 13.
