Where is 'Simply Naturist Retreat'?

We are located 10 minutes outside of Hartland, New Brunswick, Canada. Our advertising line is that we are half way between Halifax and Quebec City, about six hours in either direction. We are nestled along the Canada-United States border, making us easily accessible to our American friends.

Why aren't the directions published on your web page?

Because we do not live on site, and because it is only open on the weekends, we feel it is better to have everyone contact us directly for directions. That way no one will be left out because the arrived mid-week without a reservation and without anyone there to welcome and admit them.

How do we get directions and/or make arrangements to come?

By e-mail or phone (506) 246-5593. Once you have looked the web page over and decided you would like to come for a visit, simply send us an e-mail telling us when you would like to arrive. Let us know whether or not it will be a day visit or if you plan on camping with a tent, trailer or renting the cabin and we will be happy to send you directions.

How much will it cost?

All of the answers to this question can be found on the rates page. You will find the rates after the installation of the pool on the news and updates page. They will not take effect until the pool is available for use. If this doesn't help provide answers, feel free to ask us a more detailed question via e-mail.

What activities do you provide?

We have two walking trails, short but challenging, a non-regulation size petanque court, bird watching, canoeing (CLOTHED) in the stream across from us, which is well known for fishing and canoeing as well a good number of water birds.

What services do you provide?

We have water, sewer and electricity. Electricity can be made available to you as with fresh drinking water. The bath house must be used for showering as we do not provide water and sewer to the field.

Are you open year round?

No. Our climate is not kind enough for that. For the time being we are open weekends only, until we have a broader population base. However, if you are travelling and would like to stop and rest or spend the night, every effort will be made to accomodate you.

Can anyone become a member of SNR?

Anyone can join SNR. It is suggested that a couple of visits be made first to ensure this is what you want. Once that hurtle is crossed, it is a simple process to join.
