How do I start making a hoax?

For starters, you need to think of a basic idea for a hoax.  This is not always an easy task.  Sometimes you can find inspiration by playing through a Sonic game.  It’s also a good idea to write your ideas down, especially if you’re not at your computer at the time.  You can even draw a picture.  The next task would then be to take your screenshots and put everything together to create your hoax.  Easier said than done, right?

Now it’s time to introduce the tutorial for hoax designing 101.

While at school you think of what it would be like to see Eggman running through a stage of Sonic 3 & Knuckles.  Since you won’t be at your home computer for at least four hours, you decide to stop taking class notes and doodle in your notebook.  (Even the best students get distracted, right?)

As you can see, the picture is just to give you a mental picture of what you’re going to accomplish.  It’s just a rough draft, so it doesn’t have to be perfect.  (And yes, I really can’t draw!)

When you get home you finish all of your homework and finally get to have some free time on your computer.  Hoaxes can take a lot of time, after all.

Now it’s time to take screenshots.
