“Don't Cry for Me, Mobius!”

Part 1
Introducing the characters of Sonic the Hedgehog:
The Freedom Fighters:  Sonic, Tails, Boomer, Sally, and Antoine from Knothole Village.
The Villains:  Robotnik, Buzzbomber, Cluck, Crabmeat, and Caterkiller from Robotropolis.

Although Sonic starts off by escaping from the hands of Dr. Robotnik, he makes his way back to Knothole.  By pulling on a vine, a tree stump opens and he slides down an underground slide.  Tails, the child who idolizes Sonic, is already at Knothole, ready to hear about Sonic's battle with Dr. Robotnik.  Boomer basically is a background character, only saying a few lines.  Then Princess Sally enters, angry since she is sure that Sonic has left a trail for Robotnik to follow.  Finally, Antoine enters and announces that there is a leak that could flood Knothole and allow Robotnik to determine its location.

Part 2
The Freedom Fighters explore the Great Forest to determine the cause of the leak.  There they find weeping willows that are sobbing over their lost friends, previously destroyed by Robotnik.  By this time, Robotnik has discovered that the Freedom Fighters are in the Great Forest and begins to attack.  Sonic manages to get Robotnik to chase him, leading him to a well that holds power rings.  Sonic finds a power ring and jumps through it, causing the ball on Robotnik's ship to jump up and crush Robotnik's head.  However, Robotnik survives and grabs onto Buzzbomber to escape.

The only problem that remains is how to stop the leak.  Sonic suggests that they plant saplings, so Boomer plants a sap--Antoine--into the ground.  As Sally and Tails help plant the saplings, the weeping willows stop their crying, ending the leak problem.

“Rabbot Deployment!”

Part I
After some pictures that Boomer took, it is discovered that Robotnik is taking over the southern sector of Mobius.  Sonic and Boomer head off, where they find a couple of swatbots throwing a rabbit into a "Bot on the Spot" (a robot making machine).  Sonic runs to save her, but he is still tethered to Boomer.  Boomer unties Sonic, and Sonic destroys the two swatbots and drills a hole into the machine.  Sonic turns off the power and he and Boomer remove her from the machine.  Sonic then runs back to Knothole.

Part II
Upon bringing the rabbit back to Knothole, she springs to life and introduces herself as Bunnie.  As Bunnie shows what she can do, Antoine rushes in to report that a huge Burrobot is tearing up the Great Forest.  Sonic and Bunnie rush up to the surface, where Bunnie pulls Sonic back underground to save his life.  After the Burrobot passed Sonic and Bunnie, Sonic made a tornado to suck Burrobot.  The robot turned, firing a laser at Sonic.  Bunnie turned Burrobot onto its back, then Sonic spun around in circles to create a trench.  The trench collapsed, burying the robot.  Upon the return to Knothole, everyone welcomed Bunnie as a freedom fighter.

“The Lizard of Odd!”

Part 1
Wishing to defeat Sonic, Robotnik vows to create a monster out of the next creature that is captured.  To his surprise, swatbots bring back a tiny salamander.  Robotnik sends the swatbots away for punishment and proceeds to roboticize the salamander.  As the salamander is roboticized, Robotnik begins to sweat (oil).  Buzzbomber tries to turn on the air conditioner, but gives the salamander extra power.  The salamander, completely roboticized, breaks free and names himself Universalamander.

Back at Knothole, Sally and Boomer have discovered Universalamander's presence on a monitor.  As Sonic goes off to defeat the salamander, he watches Robotnik flee in terror.  Ignoring Robotnik's warnings, Sonic faces Universalamander . . . and becomes trapped in its mouth.

Part 2
Sonic spins around in Universalamander's mouth, causing the salamander to spit Sonic onto the ground.  To defeat Universalamander, Sonic dashes over to a star post where he conveniently stashed all seven chaos emeralds and 50 rings.  Sonic enters the special stage, collects 50 more rings, and transforms into Super Sonic.  With new power, Super Sonic runs through Universalamander and borrows a machine from Boomer.  Using the reduce component of a robo-machine, Super Sonic shrinks Universalamander.  His foot hovers over the salamander as it runs away.  Later, Super Sonic shows off his power by putting a whoopee cushion under Antoine's chair.

"This Island Hedgehog"

Part I:
Sonic and Tails fly on a plane and discover a floating island.  As they approach the island, their plane is attacked.  With no way to go back to Knothole, Sonic and Tails begin to explore the island.  They are attacked by a robot, so Sonic and Tails dive into some water.  Although the two try to swim to safety, they are soon sucked down a drain.  Sonic and Tails find themselves tied in ropes and discover that Robotnik was not behind this attack.  Knuckles the Echidna steps into the light of the dark room, proud that he has stopped the jewel thieves that Robotnik had warned him about.

Part II:
Snively reveals that Robotnik was the one that tricked Knuckles in believing that Sonic wasn't a freedom fighter but a jewel thief.  Robotnik watches a monitor as Knuckles sets Sonic and Tails free, giving them ten minutes to get off of the island.  Robotnik yells at Knuckles, then finds out that Crabmeat retrieved the chaos emerald.  Meanwhile, Sonic and Tails rush to get off the island.  Knuckles follows them, and thinks that they're heading to the location of the chaos emerald.  He takes a shortcut only to discover the emerald gone.  Knuckles realizes that Sonic and Tails didn't steal it, so it must have been Robotnik that stole the emerald.  They head to Robotnik's plane, and Sonic quickly steals the emerald from Robotnik's hands.  Sonic and Knuckles destroy the swatbots, then Robotnik escapes on his plane.  Knuckles shows Sonic and Tails the pieces of Sonic's plane, and Sonic quickly puts them back together.  Sonic and Tails then fly away, and Knuckles thinks that he will see them again.
