Part I:
Sally contacts Sonic to have him stop one of Robotnik's machines. In order
to save time, Sonic takes the Cosmic Interstate. However, he soon gets lost
and finds himself in an area that seems different. On his way to Knothole,
Sonic finds a veterinary clinic. He walks inside to find Doctor
Robotnik treating animals. The animals prepare to attack Sonic, who
runs out of the window and down the side of the building. Sonic then runs
straight into a look-alike version of himself.
Part II:
Both Sonics think they are the real one. Sonic says that he took a wrong
turn on the Cosmic Interstate, so Evil
Sonic (wearing sunglasses, a leather jacket and boots) explains the situation.
Sonic has crossed into a reverse universe, meaning that the freedom fighters fight
against freedom and Robotnik is the good guy. Evil Sonic wants a race, so
the two start a race around Mobius. Sonic becomes tired of the game and
leads Evil Sonic to the veterinary clinic. Sonic teases the animals and
then speeds off as they prepare to attack. Evil Sonic comes into the room
and is captured by the animals. Afterwards, Sonic heads back to his universe.
With a device made by good Robotnik, he sucks up the gray goop that the freedom
fighters were worried about. Sally says Sonic is one of a kind.

"Beat the Clock!"
Coconuts has captured Sally, Rotor, Tails and Antoine. His plan
is to become number one on Robotnik's list by making Sonic come to rescue
his friends from an explosion. Sonic makes his way through a maze
(which can be done by the reader) and rescues everybody in the nick of
time. Coconuts is caught in the explosion and sees stars (which
is what he wanted to be on the top ten).

"Food for Thought or 'You are What You Eat!'"
Script: Mike Kanteroich & Ken Penders
Pencils & Inks: Art Mawhinney
In an early celebration of his birthday, Sonic makes himself a ton
of chili-dogs as a midnight snack and eats them all. He falls asleep
and begins to have a strange dream. . . .
Sonic the Chili-dog
finds Princess Sally (an ice cream cone) with a tape. The two watch the
tape only to find Robot-burger
(Robotnik) getting ready to make Kentucky Fry Tails. Sonic runs off to Burge-tropolis
to rescue Tails (french fries). Coconuts throws a banana peel on the floor,
and Sonic slips on it. He is placed on a conveyer belt that leads to a barbeque
grill. Sonic screams as he wakes up.
Sonic vows that he will start a diet. Sally and Tails sneak
in the room and wish Sonic a happy birthday. They surprise him with
a plate full of chili-dogs. Sonic thinks for a minute, then starts
eating them quickly.
