Part I:
Tails just built a seesaw, and Rotor jumps on it.  Tails hits the ceiling, revealing a treasure map.  The freedom fighters look at it, and Sonic discovers that it is a map that leads to Uncle Chuck's greatest treasure.  Sally says that money has no value, but Sonic says that Uncle Chuck was a great inventor and could have something to help them defeat Robotnik.

The freedom fighters make their way to the Mobius Natural Park, which has been polluted.  They start following the treasure map and are overheard by some swatbots.  Sonic speeds through and finds an "X" on the ground.  Robotnik appears and the freedom fighters split up as they run away.

Part II:
Sonic realizes that nobody will be able to survive in the toxic environment.  He rushes to all of the freedom fighters and uses the environment as his advantage to destroy the robots.  Once all the freedom fighters have been rescued, they dig up the treasure.  Sally says that when Sonic fought the badniks it was a "great feat."  Sonic is surprised, and Robotnik steals the treasure before it was opened.  Sonic tells everyone to head back to Knothole because they don't want to be there when Robotnik opens the chest.  Later, Robotnik yells over the treasure:  a bronzed pair of Sonic's baby shoes.

"The Shadow Nose!" - 1 page

Sonic does shadow boxing, and beats up his own shadow.

"Details are Sketchy!" - 1 page

Crabmeat describes what attacked him, and Robotnik draws a picture of Sonic.

"Sorceress in Distress"
Everyone is dressed up for the Fright Night party.  Sally is dressed up as a sorceress, but she doesn't have a stick (for a magic staff).  She orders Sonic and Antoine not to follow her and goes outside to look for a stick.  She finds one that looks like a staff and tells a rock to arise.  A geyser just happens to burst as Sally says this, sending the rock into the sky.

Robotnik, watching the scene, thinks that he is in love.  He runs to Sally and offers her living-being eating weeds and bot-bons (chocolate and motor oil).  He then asks her to marry him.  Sally realizes that he doesn't recognize her, so she stalls for time.  Robotnik takes her and makes the preparations for the wedding.

At the ceremony, Robotnik says that the sorceress will demonstrate her powers.  Sonic, who has been following Sally, spins around to make him appear invisible.  He hits Robotnik, who orders his robots to destroy the sorceress.  Once they are out in the forest, Sally tells Sonic to put her down.  Sonic apologizes, and Sally gives him a kiss.  Then she hits him with her staff for disobeying her order.

"Princess Cruises" - 1 page

Sally yells at Antoine, who named a rowboat after her.

Sonic-Grams highlights:
~ Although Antoine is annoying, we don't hate him--we still need someone to make coffee runs
~ The way to remain good-looking is to be smart and never reveal your age
~ More freedom fighters are listed for coloring in a panel for issue #2
