Introduction
Let's back track a little to 2001. That is definitely a year I will never forget. Its a year of sadness and lost. January 1st, 2001, New Years was the happiest day of my life, so I thought. I had met someone very special to me. Someone I will never forget or forgive. By the end of the month, things started to fall apart. Five months after that things seemed workable. Just when I thought everything was going to be OK, by the end of June... it fell apart, again. From that day on I gave up the idea of him and I being together. That was my first love ever. A very sad moment.
Lonesome and hardship continues for another 2-3 months. Beginning of September was a fine month for me. My debts were all on time and managable, until 9-11 happened. From that day on till February all debts and expenses were not managable. I was at the brink of losing my job and home. I was barely able to put food on the table. A week after 9-11 I met my honey, Mario. Ever since that day things started moving smoother. I don't know if its true what they say, you can see love in a person by noticing a more positive and happy side to them. What I do know is that once my love life was going smooth, everything seemed not as difficult. I even resumed work again a week after that.
December came around and I couldn't hold out any longer. I gave up the thought of not asking the government for help with finances. In late December I camped out at Pier 94 and applied for some funds from Safe Horizon, Red Cross, Salvation Army, and FEMA. With the money that Safe Horizon and Red Cross gave me I was able to get back on my feet. Once that happened my mom was able to support herself and my sister. That sure took a load off my back. Right now, everything is fine, but 2001 was a very depressing year. I'm glad I was able to recuperate from all that has happened. I hope many out there were or are able to, also.
After 9-11 Lower Manhattan has been very different. Things started slowing down and the environment was less vibrant. I hope one day Lower Manhattan will resume to his normality as much as possible. I've noticed that Lower East Side (LES) has been pretty alive lately. A very good sign. I hope most of you will be or is back to LES. To encourage everyone to relive the vibrant LES Wall Street Rising has started a "Do It Downtown!" discount card program.

Mah Horoscope Report:
Section 1: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
You have powerful emotional attachments to the past, your family, your childhood, those places you associate with safety and security and your beginnings. Maintaining a connection with your roots and heritage and keeping family bonds strong are very important to you. Loyal, devoted, and sentimental, you tend to cling to whatever is dear to you, be it person, familiar place, or cherished possession.
Section 2: Mental Interests and Abilities
You are highly interested in inner, subjective, and personal issues, and your thinking is based more on feelings, intuition, personal experiences, and prejudices rather than reason or logic. Intellectual abilities and accomplishments without heart or soul mean little to you. You are empathic and would be an excellent counselor, for you are a sensitive listener and deeply interested in a person's feelings and inner life. In addition to psychology, you are drawn to education, art, poetry, music, or mythology. You are not especially confident about speaking in public, but will open up and share your thoughts in small, intimate groups. You enjoy keeping a diary or personal journal and reading the chronicles of others' lives and personal development.
