Munkustrap
Munkustrap

Nicknames: Munk, Munku, Munkus, Kus-Kus, MUNKYPOO!!!

Age: Adult

Family: Some say that
Rum Tum Tugger and Macavity are his brothers (but usually people dont find Tugger and Mac brothers, although that would explain why theyre both such womanizers*gets hit with CPU* IM SORRY!!!)

Mate:
Demeter

Physical Appearance: Silver tabby with black stripes and back legs, most likely a longhaired breed

The Naming of Munkustrap: (MUNK us trap) Munk could be a misspelled monk. I dont know. Some saw that the strap is in there because hes so uptight, but remember that Munkustraps only appearance in T.S. Eliots poems is in The Naming of Cats. The characters themselves were developed by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Description: As
Deuteronomys second-in-command, Munkustrap has his work cut out for him. Hes the protector, the storyteller, the director of The Pekes and the Pollicles, AND has to keep everyone in line. Hes willing to risk his life to protect against Macavity and seems to really care for Demeter

Memorable Quote: And Jellicles ask, because Jellicles dare: who will it be? - the end of Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats (I love this part!)

People who have played Munkustrap: Michael Gruber (film,) Harry Groener (OB,) Jeff Shankley (OB,) Jeffry Denman (BA,) Anthony OKeefe (OA,) Glen Hogstrom (CRAC)
