This customizable card game (CCG) involves two players creating a deck of cards and then using these decks in a competition to see who can gain more points. The specific rules for this particular variety of CCG are rather complex and I will not attempt to describe them here. This game is set in the Star Wars universe, with all the locations, ships, weapons and characters from the movies and books present. The cards are split into several sets, each set consisting of a few hundred individual cards. Each player must create a deck of 60 cards, picking and choosing which cards from the thousands of those available. There are a wide variety of strategies and card combinations, making the bame extremely replayable.
Currently in the status of collecting the cards that are missing from my sets up through Death Star II. After that point I stopped collecting as it was getting expensive as well as I had less interest in playing the game as I did in finishing my sets. Currently I have full black border sets of Premeire, A New Hope, Hoth, Cloud City, Endor and Death Star II. Working on gaining the remaining cards from Dagobah, Jabba's Palace and Special Edition, with Special Edition being closest to completion.
The game itself started out with the Premiere Two-player game, as a test to see if my brother would play as well. We were hooked and therefore the card collecting began. Mostly single booster packs until much later when I started purchasing entire boxes of cards. This would be the reason I have several full sets of cards without too much trading.
Been involved in online auctions and trades for several years now, evenutally leading to my enrollment in the institution of GAB, Good traders Against Bad traders. Didn't take me very long to gain considerable rank in that organization to my current position of Vice Admiral. Member of Gold Rock Team and leader of the Pyrite section of said team. Also a former Padawan Master until that subsection of GAB was disbanded due to what I believe was time constraints by the heads of the organization. I would have offered to lead the group but I doubt I'd have the time to do this either, pity as it was a great way to introduce new traders to everything involved in online trading. |

Next will be a few online organizations that deal with card trading, as well as some placed where cards may be purchased. These are links I have used in the past with mixed results in terms of success. I'm sorry to say that the best sites have either moved to new locations I am not aware of or have been taken down permanently. |
