Congratulations on your work.  I hope you have enjoyed your journey back in time, and can see clearly why the words of Martin Luther King, Jr. were so important during the Civil Rights Movement and remain relevant today.

I also hope that you have reviewed more than three of the oral histories presented here, looked at more than three important historical sites, and have listened in full to some of the important music of the Movement -- all of these elements have been woven together to form the fabric of our national civil rights history.

Also, as we read other non-fiction texts, I encourage you to seek out the the background, context and feelings surrounding those documents, as succumbing to that curiosity will provide you with a richer experience with the texts.
