| I'm not sure, but the last time I checked we had the freedoms of speech, and press. If all this is so, then why can't you say "fuck" on television? Why is it that all of our major news organization are funded and fed information by one politcal party or the other? Why can the FCC pull the plug on any TV and radio station at their will? It's becuase we are too damn sensitive and whiney these days. We let the gov't do shit and take shit from us that it can't. But we don't care becuase Friends is on. Do you think networks and cable really want to edit their shows? Hell, no. They only want to keep them descent enough to be above disgusting. I don't know why, but violence sells. The more horribly violent a movie is, the better it does. I didn't make the rules but I have to live by them. The FCC makes all broadcast networks edit the hell out of thier shows. You can't even say "damn" during some hours of prime programming. It pisses me off. That's why I only watch premium channles (HBO, MAX, Showtime, ect.). Almost everything the FCC does is unconstitutional and some morals whinebag always gets on the news to defend every time we get to feeling like it needs change. Also our newspapers are crap that is fed to us by the gov't. All major news organizations are funded by one party or another and are extremely one sided. Read bewteen the lines, and pick out the facts from the opinions. They bag on video games a lot these days too. Everytime a kid kills somebody it is linked back to his violent video games. They make it look like he is the only kid in the world that had a violent game and all kids will do this. The truth this that about 60% of american households with residents under the age of 30 have some kind of game system of PC gaming rig. And they all have violent games. Better yet, lets blame violent movies for our kids bad behavior. Its those damn movies. You never see on TV and psycologist take into effect that: the kid was naturally crazy, the kid was on a whole shitload of drugs (legal or not), his parents are never home to teach him anything, his parents bought him the games, his parents never set a limit on how long he can play, or maybe shit happens. The stores and theaters are now making rules that pretty much say "If you're not 17, then you can't watch/buy any R/M rated movies/games." These rules were put into affect mostly becuase of pressure from the FCC and from parents of retarded kids. Do you think the theater wants to tell fat little no-necked kids that they can't cough up $6 to watch and rated R movie and piss of $10 at thier concession stand? Do you actually think Wal-Mart wants to not sell thier M rated games to persons under 17? Hell, no. They want to sell as much shit as they can to get money but the fucking FCC has thier balls in a vice grip right now. If one day, I wake up and hear on the news that the FCC/gov't has made it illegal to let minors buy R rated stuff, I'm going to organize the biggests protest (could be violent) you've ever seen. And if nobody seems to care and there is no protests: Then I'm going to get my shotgun, my automatic AR, my Desert Eagle, my sword, my knives, and my body armor; then I'm going to march down the the FCC building and ther are going to have a serious problem on thier hands. | Well, they were right about one thing. A great communist leader (his name escapes me) once said "We do not have to take America by force. In time they will rot from the inside like an apple and they will fall into our hands." Unfortunatly for them, they rotted a little faster than we did. If you haven't noticed, but in the last 15 to 20 years, our gov't has grown increasingly inefficient. They cannot pass laws that are of any use. They cannot provide citizens with enough protection. They cannot find a way to stop racism (sexism they did stop however). They cannot use our military justly. They cannot stop illegal immigration. They cannot stop terrorists. They cannot aford to feed the world yet they do so anyway. There is a reason for this. Its becuase laws are taking too long to pass and have to be altered to the point of nullification. Presidents no longer serve the public but rather thier own interests or the interests of thier party. Judges are less than fair in the punishment of the famous and rich. There are three reasons for this. The first reason and the lesser one is that people no longer care for civil service but rather what they can get for themselves. The lack of civil service was rampant in the last years of Rome right before its devastating collapse. The second reason is the lack of a competent workforce. There are so many illegal immigrants these days, legal workers are useless. More importantly than the immigrants is the slothful. None of the trailer trash, and niggers (<not "I hate black people niggers", but "Black people living off of welfare niggers.") have jobs. About 50 years ago there were people who lived off of the government. They all had jobs and earned thier living. Now, the gov't pays the lazy and keeps them from getting a job and helping the economy. Most all of them could be working somewhere doing something and helping the country. The third and probably the worst reason it the political parties in this country. When George Washington stepped down from president after his second term he warned Americans to avoid the newly forming political parties. He felt they might cause a rift between citizens. Well, he was right. Political parties keep senators, congressmen, and judges from doing thier job. They really clog up the senate. We are destroying ourselves. | One day my Xbox Live was not responding. This was only a few minutes after some guy threatened to hack my everying. So I get on XBL chat suppor on xbox.com. When I join the room it send me the prerendered welcome message with my name inserted into it. The guy asks if I have a problem. I remind him that I filled out a entry forum to get in here and the he decides to read it. 15 minutes later he types in a prerendered "we can't help you message" which asks me to call them on the phone. I read the info and it says that the phone service closed and they left office 45 minutes ago. I tell the guy this and 5 minutes later he tell me to try anyway. This was dumb. I really think that it was just a bot programmed to search the blank for info and then really slowly spit it out. I hope this guy gets fired for being dumb or Microshaft will hire a real tech support crew. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
