The Kiwanis
Club of Sidney & Peninsula was formed in 1974 and is part of a
world-wide organization of service clubs, Kiwanis International, which
itself was started in 1916. Our membership is made up of a very diverse
group and we encourage membership from both men and women. Age (young
or old) is not a barrier in a Kiwanis club nor are disabilities. We
have no religious or political affiliations. Although our club is
known most for its delicious food concessions, the members can often
be found participating through service for other organizations in
need.

| Kiwanis offers the opportunity to become more actively involved in your community and the ability to make a positive difference in other people’s lives. We also offer a variety of speakers, leadership positions, and travel opportunities. Good friendships and lasting memories are also a benefit of our organization. |
