Biological anthropology, cognitive development; conflict, social control, underdog effects; domestication, social carnivore ecology, canid evolution, social cognition and social exchange; Pastoral nomad societies.

Research

Experimental methods in domain-specific intelligence. Perception of intention and emotion from voice and movement. The role of predators and prey in human evolution. Cognitive development and decision-making in ecological context. Using cross-cultural, inter-species and developmental methodologies to test evolutionary hypotheses.
