Willimantic Dojo

Donald Soucy is the head instructor of the Willimantic Dojo and the highest ranking black belt in Connecticut.Willimantic Whales Wailing Each Other Don has over twenty years experience in the martial arts.Don Soucy
Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Classes for children are from 6:30-7:30 PM. Adult classes are from 7:45-9:30 PM.

The Willimantic dojo is located in the auxilliary gymnasium at the Windham Middle School. Follow Route 6/66 eastbound into downtown Willimantic (Main Street). Take a left onto Mansfield Road. Windham hospital will be on your left. Go left onto Quarry Street. Windham Middle School will be on your right, about a half-mile from the turn. Parking is plentiful at the school. Walk through the glass doors. The main gymnasium is on your left. The auxilliary gymnasium is in the back of the main gym.

Durham Dojo

Terri Piscatelli and Toby Bates are the head instructors of the Durham dojo. Self Defense at Durham Both are second-degree black belts with over thirteen years of martial arts training. David Remington is a second-degree black belt who resides in Massachusetts and frequently teaches as a guest instructor at both dojos. Sal Genna is the instructor of a Shoshin dojo in New York City.

Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings. A children's class (age 7 and up) runs from 6:30-7:30 PM with an adult class that follows from 7:45:9:30 PM. The Durham dojo is located in the gymnasium at the Strong Middle School. Follow Route 17 South from Middletown towards Durham. The Strong Middle School is near the center of Durham, on the left side of Route 17, just past the junction of Route 68. There is plenty of parking available at the school.
