March 29

Well, got back yesterday from our Vegas trip and it was a lot of fun. But for now I think I've had enough of sin city for a few years. But lets recap. Took off Friday at 7, got there at 530 pm. A very long drive. Highlight of the drive was the monarch death gauntlet. There was a couple of miles on Highway 58 where these butterflies were just hitting the car every two seconds some of them just exploding into these gobs of yellow shit. It had the same look to is mustard, mmm.

So we get to San Remo and I'm just swamped. I feel as if I had been up since 430am, oh wait, I was since I had to take James and Jason and their gfs to the airport!! But I didn't take a nap, but instead immediately changed into the hey I'm like every other white guy in vegas with my white long sleeved shirt, jeans, and brown dress shoes. But I was looking pretty swizz. First thing we did was head to the san remo buffet to get something to eat, it wasn't very good, needless to say, I was feeling the pressure immediately after that to chuck some J's, perhaps even the rare Q. After that we headed out to walk along the strip since Paul or Sol have never been to Vegas. Technically Paul has but i think it was just passing through. David took off and played some poker at Excalibur while we went down toward Paris. We ended up paying a little to get a buttload of passes into some clubs. They were, Bikinis, Tangerine, ICE, Voodoo lounge, Coyote Ugly, and Pure. For some reason we only hit up two of those, Bikinis, and Tina and Sol went to Tangerine.

I was hoping to win some money like last year playing craps but the dice decided to suck balls for me and everyone who was playing at the tables I was at. I think I ended up losing around 80 or 100, but whatever. I tried some blackjack and lost 20 in like 5 minutes.

But in the end it was fun and I had a good time, it was good to get out of the house after this quarter. Hopefully next year, I'm either in Mexico, Hawaii, or on a cruise ship.

Alright so this quarter finished last wednesday, ugh. My deposition was so ghey. I was expecting to be asked questions for roughly 25 minutes or so since our allotted time was 30 minutes. I get in there and I'm immediately answering the attorney's questions and it seemed fine for like 7 minutes and then it seemed as if it was over. Then my professor jumps in and right away makes me feel like the biggest idiot EVAR. I wasn't told specifically why my water line failed but I was basically ripped a new a-hole as to why I didn't include all this information that my prof was asking for. It made a lot of sense but I just didn't think too much about it. So that was like 10 minutes, that just didn't sit well with me, I figured shit, 10 minutes, I failed. But no, I ended up with a lousy C+. <--- Sucks because I wanted to get a B, because I've proved that its extremely difficult to get an A in a class. Example: I was also taking EME 171, grade breakdown (20%-Lab, 30%-Midterm, 50%-final) I scored a 94 and a 91 on the midterm and final. But the lab grade was 15.6/20 which is a 78%. So in the end my final grade is a ...... B+, fookin a. Freakin class average was a 77 on the final, argaghgrghrg.

Well, whatever, it just tells me that I need to put more effort into my studies. As David made a good point on the trip, if I can focus for 7 hours on driving after hardly getting any sleep, why shouldn't I be able to put forth that much toward my classes. Well, one reason is that I just choose not too, because it takes too much time. I'd rather be watching the Apprentice because that show is just UbEr!!! Or the Contender, cuz that just makes me cry, it really is the next great human drama, *wheeps. Next quarter will be cake, 16 units, 8 of those being an English class and an Econ class.

What could this entry be without a reference to my strength training. Anyway, I think I realized why this process is taking so long, first of all. I'm not sure what I need to and what I want to do. I still have some unwanted fat around my midsection that I need to get rid of. It where most of my body fat is stationed. But what i've been doing for the past 5 weeks have resulted in dropping only roughly 1 pound each week. Its taking too long. So now I'm going to focus on for the next 3 weeks, is to lose as much weigh as I can, im sure i'll lose some muscle but I'm going to limit my calorie intake to roughly no more than 2200 calories, assuming my maintenance intake is around 2600-2800. Then after these 3 weeks regardless of what I lossed I'm going to add the mass by intaking around 3500-3700 calories per day. But this wont be just wasted cal from crap food like pizza or whatever, majority of will come from fruit, chicken, lean beef, and what not. That will go on for 10 weeks. So by then, maybe I'll be back up to 180 but mainly lean mass. It's gonna be swizzle.

Its finals week, oh yayer. I already had two, and lets say that I sucked ass on my circuits final and was confused with my are157 final, tomorrow I have my last official final of the quarter. Its for my analysis and simulation class, I'm going in with an A, can I retain it? We'll see. Then on Wednesday I am being deposed for roughly 25 minutes for my failure analysis class. We'll see how that goes. Kinda nervous because the prof will be in there just listening and I feel that he'll think i'm talking straight out of my ass. But then thats it, then its off to Vegas on Friday morning til Monday night. Should be swizzle.

Last tuesday I broke the 170lb barrier, I weighed in at 169.8, woot. I predict my body fat % is around 14-16, it needs to be like 10 dammit before I start building up more mass...it takes a long time.

Thats it for now.

February 27

I weighed in at 171 yesterday, slowly progressing, my body is trying to burn that elementary grade fat right now. I'm slowly getting there. I changed up my workout, instead of strength training three days a week, I go four times, and devote two days each to upper and lower body. I like it more as I have the ability to isolate the muscle groups instead of just going through a circuit too tired to lift. The goal though is to actually see some ab definition but unfortunately thats where most of my fat lies, around the midsection. I can feel the abs when I contract them, they are a lot more toned I guess I could say. I also started running for 12-15 minutes around the green belt. I believe I'll be where I want to be in 3 or 4 weeks if I can consistently keep this up. After I reach that point, I'll begin to put a little more mass on. Ideal weight is to be around 180 but with like 10% body fat so thats the goal before summer starts.

I have yet to hear back from Anheuser, this wednesday will be two weeks, I'll call the HR rep that is in charge if I dont hear from them yet. I'm supposed to hear from NUMMI sometime in March so I'll wait on that.

So all of us are going to go to Vegas for spring break. We are staying at San Remo again. I have one more spot available in the car if anyone is willing to ride a long and have a good time. If anyone is reading this, and you want to go, let me know. I hope to triple my gambling money playing craps which would pay for the trip and leave me a deuce left over. Alright, I need to get some sleep, this week is going to be gheyzor, midterm thursday and two labs(Tuesday and Wednesday), and I have a project due next tuesday. blah but whatever I'm l337 and I pwn joo!!!!!111oneoneoneeleven I roxorz
