Condolences
Our love goes out to Daves family and close friends. Dave was a pleasure to have on tour and was looked up to by myself and many others. Words cannot express how sad these past few days have been. I must again say that it was an honor meeting Dave and actually getting to play with him.

i grew up with Spring Heeled Jack; they were & always will be my favorites, my boys - they got me through the bad & good times with the music they made for all of us. the world has lost a wonderful light & an incredible musician in Dave. this quote always seems to help comfort me; i hope it will do the same for you:

Perhaps they are not stars, but openings in the Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines upon us to let us know they are happy. They are with us forever.

his music will always be there for us and he will always be with us. Dave is in my thoughts & my heart.

sincerely,
Arianna Schlegel

Dear Family and Friends,
I am not one of your typical SKA band groupies. I am a 40+ Mom that had the pleasure of taking my kids and their friends to see Spring Heeled Jack on many occasions. After seeing me at the shows on a regular basis, Dave was always ready with a smile and a big hug when he saw me. I never felt out of place when I was with Dave, we were just two friends talking about music and life in general.

I will keep Dave in my heart, and I am very grateful to have known such an incredible person.

Im so sorry for the loss of dave karcich.

It reminds me of what a small world it is. I used to work at xando on 13th st in new york city, which is, I believe, where dave was working at the time that he passed away. I didnt work there at the same time he did but Im sure I saw him in passing many a time without even knowing that he was in spring heeled jack. I know my friends who did know him are devastated by his death. Its such a small world and it hurts me to bear witness to yet one more tragedy this year.

Im left inspired by the words of the song freedom, which is the song that hooked me on spring heeled jack in the first place..

The words ring truer this time around.
My thoughts are with his friends and family.

Much Love,
Jess

Hello,

Our deepest condolences to Daves family & friends including the members of Spring Heeled Jack, Pilfers, and Avoid One Thing.

Daves bands (SHJ & Pilfers) had performed on my program in the past!

I will be more than happy to provide the scholarship fund info to my shows fanbase.

Musically yours -

Im a close friend of Daves girlfriend, Lori. Although I only had the opportunity to hang out with Dave on two occassions, I knew what a special gift he was to Lori from the second we met. I just keep thinking of how much positive energy he possessed and what a genuine person he was. I still cant believe hes gone. Its hard to think of any words that could help his family and friends through this, but I guess I just want them to know that my prayers are with them.

Sincerely,
Jenn

I just wanted to say that Dave was loved and respected not only as a musician but as a person and I would like to offer my condolences and prayers to the family. God bless you.
