Karen at Denver. June 14th 2002
Karen was at FOLEYS in the South Glenn mall two weeks earlier and Diana the cosmetics lady suggested that she come in for a make over. They were going to have Audrey the LANCOME lady in for the whole day and she could stop by. Karen jumped at the chance and then got cold feet and then got over the fear. She is doing much better with that part of her life.
In the mean time she has told MARY all about Karen. Mary is not shocked and wants to go out some. On Friday the 14th Karen is out the door in her best little skirt and top, with the little sandals on her feet. The make over goes well until it is buy time. They don�t have the makeup that they used in stock. Good planning girls, way to sell. Karen learned more and so she is happy with the makeover and she is ready to GO OUT. They didn�t do a bold job, just a nice work job.
Karen and Mary meet at BJ�s Carousel for a drink about 6:00 PM. They sat and talk and get to know each other better. It is nice to have a GG friend to talk with. Mary had promised to be someplace by 8:00 so they had to break it up about 7:30. There is a picture below of the girls short night out.
Karen was off to home and then back to BJ�s about 9:30 for another little outing. See, she is getting braver all the time. Pretty soon she will be out there like you and me, that is, if you are.
We girls just want to be girls and have FUN. This Friday night Karen was out in Denver, I was out in Portland, and I hope you were out where ever you live. WOOO HOOO Night out.. |
