Everyone knows that the main task for a student is to study. We go to school, have classes, take exams, do projects and give presentations. The reason why I picked Applied Mathematics as my major went back to my high school year. I knew I am good at science and I want to learn something more skilled but relating to natural science. Meanwhile, I like studying English as well. To me, language is not only a tool so people can understand me and we can communicate. Also it is an art. What a pity I never go deep into it. In my personal point of view, the key to learning English for most Chinese students is not to be afraid and try to let other people understand what you are saying, what you are writing, what you’re presenting, and what you’re doing.
