the house web network is down, cos clement's computer broke down, and our internet connection depends on him. sigh. so i've been using dialup for the past week. it sucks. eek. i'm sitting at alvin's computer right now, he's got a nice keyboard, nice mouse, and a fast connection. [it's a complicated story why his connection is faster than mine....] but anyhow, it feels good to be using a mouse that actually moves correctly, and surfing pages that finish loading within this century. ah. bliss. oh, and not to mention the big screen. ah. nice.

i'm actually taking a break from my studying right now. need a breather. getting a little overwhelmed by my school work right now. the stress is coming...partly due to my inactivity last week, and partly cos the midterms are coming. all the courses are picking up speed. plus, my japanese classes aren't easy anymore. though now, i can identify the items in a room, and describe their location. aha. very useful. for eg, to say cindy is under the desk, you say, tsukue no shita ni cindy ga imasu. now, isn't that a useful sentence to know? heh.

i saw something really funny today. at first sight, it was just cute, i saw this rather good looking asian guy wearing this pair of pants that had prints of penguins on them. god, i've never seen any guy wear pyjamas in the streets before. i mean, i've seen girl come to class [especially an early 8am or 9am class] with in their pyjamas pants, with fluffy clouds, red gaudy hearts or cutesy sheep prints. but never a guy. penguins. i don't know, i just found it quite funny. hahahahaha....

short entry today, cos i feel bad planting myself in front of alvin's computer like this. [though i do like this computer a lot.] i already spent 2 hours in front of tk's computer [which has two screens!] just now, fixing something on the lion dance webpage. take a look! i didn't do this design, it was designed by the previous webmaster. and god, took me some time to figure the structure out. cos i'm more familiar with the other site that was similar and hosted on the school server. though the contents are exactly the same, the structure is completely different, i had trouble finding the right files to correct. eek. it took me 2 hours to change 2 sentences. i only managed to correct the mistake on the f2s.com site, and not the one on uiuc.edu. sigh. and i'm already tired.

what a boringly frivolous entry....but really, i feel quite okay today. just about normal. though i dreamt of aliens last night again. not smiley ones, and i don't remember much of the dream anymore. but sheesh, why am i always dreaming of aliens? hmm.
