260701, 1010hr, Singapore time.

I woke up with a splitting headache today. couldn't sleep last night, cos my kor was using my laptop in my room to go online, till like really late at night. the light from desk lamp was really just too glaring, even with my eyes closed. i managed to actually fall asleep after a torturous 1 hour or so, when he woke me up, to tell me that my laptop hanged, and asked me what to do. argh. grrr. by the time i got back to my mattress (i sleep on the floor now, he takes the bed) i couldn't sleep anymore. i tossed and turned, i sat up once in a while to scratch my head frantically (i must have looked like a lunatic. haha.) but to no avail, he refused to take the hint. i think by the time he went to bed too, and turned off the lights, it was already past 2am. know how i knew? the radio was on, and even the DJ has already knocked off. argh. kill me.

so this morning, i was in a pissed off mood again. shit.

yesterday, after all that ranting, i still got back to work, writing that paper. i was just simmering, with some more pent up frustrations. i was so tempted to go shopping, and splurge on those nice clothes from iora. fortunately, i didn't, i managed to persuade myself to go the library instead. [y'know, safe place, nowhere to spend money.] unfortunately, or maybe not, on the way to the library, i impulsively stepped into MPH. I spent close to $100 on books there.

argh. i could have gone shopping at iora with that money!

of course, the good thing is, all the books i bought are really books i've been thinking of buying for quite some time. like A Brief History Of Time. Anne Frank's Diary. blah blah. oh oh, i also bought this book that taught japanese vulgarities. muahahahaha...i immediately cheered up when i skimmed through a few pages.

japanese word of the day: hehiri-mushi - little brat. literally, farting bug. hahahahahhahahaha...

that book is highly therapeutic. shall read a few more pages before i start on my paper again.
