Feeling... happy Food: none yet. i have an apple waiting for me though. Book: Chinese book called Niu zai ku qing ren [Lover in jeans.] hahaha... CD: [computer] Billie Holiday - My Greatest Songs. [discman] Harlem Yu's Tidal Wave Happiness of the day: saw jia yesterday at the mrt station! and gonna meet up with ming today. Event of the week: Going back to malaysia this coming weekend - Take 2. listening to billie holiday right now. man, the songs are so romantic......if i ever get my own apartment, i will play this CD everytime my boyfriend comes over so we can slow dance. ah, so so so romantic.... something very funny happened last night while watching tv with my parents. we were watching this taiwanese variety show and there was this segment, where this boy [i saw boy cos he looks no older than 16] invited his crush to the show, and like through some bluffing, acting and whatnot, basically declared love to her. girl was taken completely by surprise, and she was given this ultimatum - take the flowers and leave with the boy, or take the hands of the comperes and leave with them. and then there was this huge build up, like counting down, music, zooming in to the girl's face and so on......and then there was a dramatic pause in the show [like it was going to commercials or something]. and then my mom shouted [and i mean shout shout], "eh, wait leh!" hahahahahahahahahhaa....mommy dear, i didn't do anything. [i was holding on to the remote.] hahahahahhaa.... in case you're interested, it was a complete anti-climax, cos the girl didn't choose, and the comperes finally backed down, found some compromise and ended the segment on a "happy" note. kinda despicable the way the girl is pressured to make such a difficult choice on national tv, so i'm glad in the end she didn't say anything. and the boy reminds me of this classmate i used to have in hwachong. the toot toot shy but occassionally funny kind. hahaha... in other news, my lion soft toy is not found yet, partly cos i haven't had time to go shopping. and not all my research material have lion holes. just those i've read. see, it's motivation for me to do my work...i'll get to punch lions in them. man, this lion puncher is so cool. | |
