Mood: better than yesterday Fact of the day: event of the week none.
It's Lynn's birthday today. Happy 20th birthday - even though you insist you're only 17! Oh well, she doesn't actually read my journal, so she won't get to see this, but she'll be so pissed off to know I just practically announced to everyone how old she is. Heh.
Today is a really rainy day, which sort of dampened my mood a little. But it's ok. Later I'm going out with Lynette and everyone else for dinner. I hope I won't spend too much though. Man, this is a really bad time for me to be so broke, since so many of my friends are having their birthdays. I still have one more present to buy. It's quite dumb, in the sense I shouldn't even be thinking of buying frivolous things for my friends at this point of time, but I really don't want to appear poor and in desperate need of help. I think I'll go sell my textbook tomorrow, to get some money back to spend. That book takes up too much space in my room anyway. Besides feeling tired and drained, I'm really feeling pretty ok today. I don't think I should be looking glum either, since it's Lynn's birthday. Smile smile smile. Yes, today is Monday, a whole new beginning of the week, for me to start studying real hard, so maybe my results won't turn out that bad after all. I hope so. Take a deep breath. I can do it. | |
