Mood: irritable - it's so warm today and I wore a turtleneck sweater. Fact of the day: I can get free condoms from the medical center near my dorm. event of the week ASB fundraising event this saturday - dance party! I am not "going" with Shaun! OK, since not many of my friends in uiuc actually know about this journal, it's not likely the above declaration is going to have any effect. But oh well.
I've been spending a lot of time with him these few days. Partly because he's in a really good mood and is always keen for a cup of coffee with me. Partly because I'm practically the most accessible friend he has right now. Partly also because something has cropped up with Lynn and he can't spend as much time with her as he did previously.
When Shaun was close to Lynn, we were all speculating that they were going out. But of course, it turned out that we were wrong. Now that Shaun is spending so much time with me, the other people are speculating that we're a couple too. And frankly, I don't really care. It's just interesting to see how they respond to us.
Last night, I was escorting him out of my dorm when we met Angel at the elevator. Her eyes were wide open and she did her usual "Omigod!" exclamation. Today, I was having dinner with Shaun and Li and Li complained about playing gooseberry. Even the people that I don't usually hang out with, are already asking the people that I do hang out with, asking whether I'm going with Shaun.
Oh sheesh.
I can't say I'm not enjoying this. I can just imagine two girls, sitting together, gossiping about Shaun and I and saying with utmost confidence, "They sure confirm one!" Hahaha....for the record, no, we're not! Hahaha..
Just some little comedy going on in my life right now I feel like I should write about before it's gone. Hehe.
