I've survived 3 out of my 5 exams. 2 more to go. Wish me luck. And judging from progress so far, wish me lots of luck.

I've not studied this hard for quite a long time. Sheesh...I can hardly believe it. It's been 4 months since I left home and one year since I left hwachong. Was it one year ago? I can still see myself sitting in a classroom on the top floor of hwachong, sitting on one of the tables actually, studying for my A levels. Mind wandering, hands itching to play, mouth itching to chit chat with my friends and make some noise.

I've never liked studying. But I liked school a lot. I liked hwachong a lot. More specifically, I liked my hwachong friends. I can't really explain why I feel so comfortable with them. I can act really stupid when I'm with them, laughing so hard that my sides will hurt.

I still have the picture in my mind. During the final days of the A levels, we usually study through afternoon till night. Sometimes I get distracted looking at the sunset through the window, beyond pathetic hwachong football field, the roads and the private estates in Bukit Timah. I probably thought it was a pretty sight and didn't think much about it then. But now I wish I had called out to my friends to invite them to share the sunset, share the moment with me. They would probably have thought that I was mad. But still..

My class will be holding a X'mas party this coming saturday. The first class party without me. I miss them so much, but they probably won't notice that I'm not around, amidst all the laughing, playing and eating. Sigh. We used to celebrate Valentine's Day, Chinese New Year and Mooncake festival together. It'll be another 4 years before I'll be in Singapore to celebrate with them again.

The question is then, after 4 years, will we still be celebrating these festivals together?
