You find yourself in control of Shion aboard the Elsa. For what it's worth, here's a map of the ship; however, it only details the top level- the one you are currently on. Plan on getting lost a lot- it'll take a while before all the corridors become familiar. You are currently located in the Galley. Take the lower left exit to enter the restaurant. Talk to the bar-tending robot, and he'll give you the Card Passport. Now exit the restaurant through the door at the top.

As you walk out of the restaurant you'll recieve an e-mail. It's about the EVS plug-in. You can now revisite places you've been to before and get any items you may have missed. You'll just need to find a save point with an EVS plate, and access the EVS Plug-in through the U.M.N. on the main menu. Take the left path and follow it until you reach the elevator. Use the elevator to reach the lower level. Head upwards and detonate the box on the left wall to obtain an ether pack.

Follow the corridor to the right, until you come to a computer terminal with a flashing yellow button. The button is an emergency swith that is used to shut off the downward passageway. Leave the button alone for now and head upwards through the door. Detonate the five boxes in this room to obtain a Med Kit, 2 Ether Upgrade S, and another Med Kit. You'll notice a ladder that leads downward, but Shion can't use it yet because her hands are a little full. Exit the room and head downwards.

After you pass through the doorways, you'll notice some objects on the left wall that can be detonated. Destroy them to reveal a path heading left. Take that path, and detonate the three boxes it leads you to for an Ether Upgrade A and 50 G. Head back to the right as far as you can go, and then downward. At the bottom of the stairs you'll find three boxes. They contain 150 G and 200 G. Now head left, and through the doorway. You can save your game here if you want. The path to find Cherenkov is through the door on the bottom, but there are still some more items to collect, so take the exit at the top.

Head upwards and detonate the boxes on the left wall to reveal Segment Address No. 8. Go to the right, and you'll come across a terminal with a green button. It's used to operate the slide deck, but you'll need the disarm key before you can use it. Now go up, across the slide deck, and then to the left. Detonate the boxes to obtain 5 Ether Upgrade A, a Med Kit, and a Bio Sphere. Go back to the right, passing the slide deck, and follow the corridor up. When the corridor turns to the left, you'll see a door. That door you see leads to the bottom part of the ladder that you saw earlier. Ignore it for now, and follow the corridor to the left.

Go through the door and then down the stairway. Go to the left and you'll find yourself in the catapult deck. Go upwards and you'll see three objects on the left wall, and three objects on the right wall. Destroy them to obtain a Fiber Suit, 150 G, an Ether Upgrade S, 100 G, and to reveal Segment Address No. 14. Exit the catapult deck, and return to the room with the save point (where you saw Chaos). Now use the door at the bottom. Use the lift to reach the lower level, and then talk to the robot that is repairing the A.G.W.S. unit. He'll tell you that you can find the disarm key needed to operate the slide deck in one of the cabins. Go downward and exit the room. Go downwards as far as you can and you'll come to a treasure chest that contains a Coat-Beam. Go back up to the A.G.W.S hangar, and take the lift at the top left. Go through the door to find Commander Cherenkov.

Exit the room, and Shion will be paged to the bridge. Take the lift to the lower level, and talk to Tony. Apparently, he's looking for a map of all the hazardous sectors in space- so offer to help him, then head for the first floor of the Elsa. Upon exiting the elevator on the first floor, go to the right a little, and then head down into the lower cabin. Walk up to the couch and press circle to find the Disarm Key. Now go to the bridge. There appears to be some kind of problem with the catapult deck, so Shion volunteers to go and take a look at it. Before leaving the bridge, talk to Captain Matthews, and he'll give you the hazardous area map (what Tony was asking you to help him find). Go to the A.G.W.S. hangar, and give the map to Tony in exchange for a Med Kit DX.

Now go to the slide deck. Operate the terminal to open up two more passageways. Take the right path and detonate the single box it leads to and gain 200 G. Take the left path and detonate the boxes to obtain a Spirit Pendant, 50 G, Decoder 10, and a Bio Sphere. Now go to the catapult deck. Go up to the forwardmost part and press the circle button for Shion to investigate. She doesn't notice anything, so now head back to the bridge.
