Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf is the most popular political party in Jalala but PPP, ANP, JUI(F) and JI is also supported by a large number of people. This region is include in PK-27 provincially and NA10 Mardan 2 Nationally. The present MPA of this region is Rahim Dad Khan (from PPP) while the MNA is Maulana Mohammad Qasim from JUI(F).
