Anton grew up in a place that had perhaps benefitted the most from the uniting of the Human race. Being from a wealthy family he had every oppurtunity to follow his dreams. His dreams led him from his home in the former Russia to San Francisco, temporary HQ for the Federation. Excelling at weapons tests and field operations he was one of the top tactical advisors in the Federation within only a decade of enrollment. Due his knowlegde about tactical situations he was chosen to accompany Renells on the assualt of the Zerg.

Growing up in a regular family in Winnipeg didn't allow for many oppurtunities for glory. So ambitous was the young George that he surpassed everybodies expectations on will power alone. Saving up money and gaining experience to finally fulfill his lifelong dream to command a starship. After scoring the second highest grade in Federation history he was quickly promoted to lieutenant. After the First Officer aboard his ship was killed in a rebel assualt he was promoted to Commander and installed as First Officer. Two years later he was given the rank of Captain and command of his own ship. 17 years later, though Fleet Admiral of the Federation Defense Forces he still commands his first ship, the "Washington". Despite his valor, awards and performance, he was chosen to be second in command of the operation to the Koprulu Sector.
