Artanis was never questioned about his ability to lead his people. What was questioned was if he was mature enough to make the right decisions. On an unknown date he and Danimoth used a modified arbiter to alter the past, preventing the Zerg invasion, the coming of the Terrans and so forth.
In the new timeline that was created by his actions Artanis never became Preator, but the leader of an elite group of pilots who directly served the Conclave. Extremely loyal and a good friend to Fenix, he has proven his valor many times, despite his immaturity. |
