The thickess of the membrane,
is one of the major factors determine the taste of ravioli and dumpling!
From the picture: the yellow membrane is ravioli membrane and the white membrane is ordinary A4 size typing paper with the thickness of 70g/100. You notice that you are able to read the alphabet behind the ravioli membrane but not with the ordinary A4 size type paper! Which is thinner? You can differential them apparently! Notes: 1. You are able to notice that the said membrane is rolled up by one of the hand-wood pole. Where is the other hand-wood pole? It function is to 'push' the membrane with the traditional art, and make it become thinner and thinner! The finally product (membrane) become so thin that make it look like transparence! |
