Just in case you were wondering where the famous columns were, here are some.  I couldn't find a good picture of the Temple of Poseidon with caryatids (columns in the form of Greek maidens).

Bernini's colonnades at the Vatican.  Ok, they're not really that ancient, but I like Bernini.
