TRAVEL PHOTO SAMPLER # 14: COLUMNS

After seeing the number of ancient architecture with columns I decided to make the shots more interesting by combining columns with "Where's Waldo" (except it's "Where's Alex").  I can still remember my art history teacher singing to the rhythm and pattern of columns, but they were mostly indoor ones in European cathedrals.  Don't have a lot of those.

Columns at Chichen Itza, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Columns at Arkadi Monastery, Crete, Greece.

Square columns near the Great Pyramids, Cairo, Egypt.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Columns at Mitla, Oaxaca Mexico.  Do all these pictures make me a columnist??
