Our research facility provides a computer area with full internet research and Ancestry.com options. A variety of CD's (including Family Tree Maker) are also available for researching. Microfilm and microfiche are available with reader/printer access. Copy machine provides letter and legal size copies.
The Society was established in 1975 with 15 members and has grown to our present membership of over 80 members.
Hard bound copies of the Sweet Home newspaper (The New Era) from 1947 through the latest year are available for viewing. We also have earlier years (1930 to 1947) on microfilm.We have over 2200 books accessible in our library for researching states, counties, family histories, and much more
