My fave bands include, but are not limited to, Metallica (all of it, I'm not one of those bastards who abandoned them), Disturbed, Staind, Godsmack, Stereomud (if you've never heard of them, you had best re-educate yourself), Flaw (that goes for these guys too), KoRn, Deftones, Alice in Chains, Saliva, RHCP, Linkin Park, Adema, Tool, and Mudvayne...just to name a few. I like a lot of melancholy sounding stuff...emotional and/or angry lyrics most of all simply because that's generally how I write. Most of the music I listen to has been the single most important influence on my writiing and writing style, especially that of Aaron Lewis (Staind), David Draiman (Disturbed), and Chris Cornell (formerly of Soundgarden, now Audioslave).
