A few simple thoughts, from one simple mind
Some have said that I am a talented writer, capable of bringing a sense of reality to my imagination, but does that really constitute as talent? I feel that it takes far more of a person to write from the heart, showcasing their emotions--their pains and sorrows, their loves and joys-- and making them real to the reader. The following are simply a few thoughts and ideas flowing from my ever restless mind...

It's said that thru man's dreams innocence and purity live on, but what happens when one stops simply dreaming and brings forth that innocence, that purity, from their dreams and applies it to his or her everyday life? Is that really too much for this world to handle?

When we say one thing, but subconsciously mean another, does that constitute as an unwilling lie? A haunting form of hypocrisy damned to walk the hollow halls of our souls until Truth shines thru?

How much is love really worth to us? Worth enough to cast aside friendships and relationships built of trust and compassion becuz of pride, lust, and in some cases, greed? And further more, is there a higher price we are willing to pay to prevent love? To lock ourselves away in our own sheltered little prisons, hiding from being human?

Why must it take something so terrible to make us realize just how much we've taken for granted? What prevents us from seeing things before hand? Are we just too damn arrogant? Neglegant? Or just simply unwilling to see?

If u had the chance to mend things between u and someone u love, no matter who's at fault, would u take that chance in your hands, or would simply let it lie, hoping that the other makes the first move? What if something were to happen to him or her that would prevent that first move from being made? Could u bear leaving things unfinished?

If one of a noble heart sacrifices himself/herself for the benefit of another becuz of how it makes them feel, is that truly noble and selfless?

And finally, if I were to die tonite, u would be in my heart forever, would I be in yours?
