Although he said he has a competitive team, Webb observed that his boys will be of championship caliber only after three years when he expects his new recruits to mature.

Shaping up as the league's weakest squad is Gold Eagle Beer which has been unusually silent about is preparations, It has been working out secretly under American Norman Black using all but three of their players last year.

The seventh squad is Northern Consolidated which has started serious training under coach Ron Jacobs with practically the same national team lineup that won the Asian Interclub championship in Malaysia last November.
