Although praising Shell's terrific game, Jaworski lamented the undecisiveness of his boys in the game that counted most.

"I can't pinpoint one player who played well," said Jaworski, who finished with only six points, all of them on free throws, while missing nine attempts from the field in a big comedown from his 23-point performance Thursday.

Terry Saldana led Ginebra with 21 points, but like the rest of his teammates he lost his touch completely in the final quarter.

And to illustrate Ginebra's helplessness, Saldana along with Ricky Relosa took turns under the basket four times but could not score.

Shell was leading 78-64 by then with 2:48 left and that series of misses became the cue for the stunned pro-Ginebra crowd to start heading for the exits.

Ginebra, which play Tanduay in another best-of-five series for third place, wound up shooting a miserable 27 percent and actually scored only four field goals in the final quarter.

Shell averaged 36 percent from the floor as the Bug Busters also showed the pressured in this playoff although they proved to be steadier in the final half.

Both teams committed a total of 49 turnovers, 35 of them in the first half as they waged a close battle that saw neither team lead by more than five points.

The half went to Shell at 35-34 as Adornado blasted in the last of his 14 points in the first 20 minutes of play in a 10-2 drive by the Bug Busters from 25-30.
