Who is Dr. Kristan Horner
and what are her credentials?
Kristen Horner is from Denver, Colorado and has lived and practiced in the Waco area since 2003. Her husband Tyler is on faculty at Baylor University. They are the proud parents of three boys, including a set of identical twins.
She is a Licensed Acupuncturist, certified by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. She holds master's degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Exercise Physiology and a bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition.
She was one of the first four practitioners in the United States to earn board certification in Oriental Medicine - the most prestigious credential available in the field. She is also board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine - NCCAOM).>
