Kare First Love
  Creator: Kaho Miyasaka
  Total # Volumes: 5 ... REST PENDING
  Total Page #: ~174
  Genre: Romance
  Rating: Youth (7+)
Brief Summary:
Karin is a typical shy and quiet girl. Her exterior doesn't help her much with her popularity either. Her "friends" sren't much help either because they mostly pick on her. But everything changes when she meets Kiriya, a boy who suprisingly takes interest in her. The story follows  Karin and Kiriya's relationship and how they gets past their ups and downs.

Story and Plotline: 5/5 :A incredibly sweet romance story. Though it can be a little overboard on the sugar levels,
the story really touches the heart. But the storu is suggested mostly for our ffemale population.

Art: 5/5 :Being one of Miyasaka's fans, I've seen her previous artwork and Kare First Love is the best. The bodies
and facial features are a lot more proportionate than previous works. The characters are very attractive and the
      clean artwork really helps.

Story and Plotline: 5/5 :Although it seems like a series just about fighting and playing with toys, this show is also
about a girl overcoming her fears and growing stronger. The story a little different from the anime though, plot
      wise and the ending.

Art: 3/5 :This is one of CLAMP's works where Mick Nekoi is the main artist which means that we don't have the
heavy detail on body features like eyes, hair, etc. Characters ocassionally turn into little squiggly figures
because they're displaying some extreme emotion which isn't exactly attractive but I find it very comical.

Leviathan
Creator: Eji Otsuka | Art: Yuu Kinutani
  Total # Volumes: 6?
  Total Page #: ---
  Genre: Horror/Mystery/Adventure
  Rating: Mature (18+)
Brief Summary:
If you havent read MPD psycho, which I will read soon, you get lost pretty fast. However, the story is odd enough to keep you going, basically about a returning doctor/ambassador who had gone missing for 5 years, Samizo Kouhei. His return brings about many questions, such as why is Tokyo the only city not wiped off the map during the millenium, are the refugees dubbed migrants swarming into Tokyo evil, what happened to his comrades, why is his body made up of 5 different people, etc, etc. Opening a spiritual surgery clinic, Kouhei and a cast of rather odd characters begin to probe mysteries that spring up in Tokyo.

Story and Plotline: 5/5 :Its rather confusing as a whole, probably because the translation I read was a little patchy,
but still top notch. Individual chapters and subplots are well versed, and character action/reaction isnt as choppy
as you would think it should be, given the oddity of each person... for example, a kid who grew to the physical
age of 8 in two hours, a student doc with a crush on Kouhei who can astral project, and a detective with a
migrant elf growing out of his head. Its reminiscent of Blackjack, even in the manga itself they talk about the
      similarity.

Art: 5/5 :While the art is drawn very sharp and stylish, the subject matter is a little shocking at first. This guy seems
to have a love affair with drawing deformed human body parts. The chapter partitions, cover jacket, intro, all
have some kind of organ attached somewhere. I particualarly like the second volume cover jacket, with the little
girl with wings made of brain tissue, disturbingly pretty, 5/5
