I've been lucky enough to meet many country singers over the years. Either through fan clubs, winning, or through the good old autograph line-it's always been a neat experience. Below are pictures of me and the stars and a little bit about how I met them.

Whenever Trick Pony is going to be in the area, you can't help but get excited. The Ponies have been to Fest 3 times now and I've met them everytime they were there! They're an awesome band and they're always great with their fans - no matter how big or small. This was my 5th time meeting The Ponies and they always put on a fantastic show! I look forward to their new album and to seeing them later on this fall!

Meeting #5 with Trick Pony!!
Meeting #4 with Rascal Flatts!
Me & Rascal Flatts
July 23, 2005 - Eau Claire, WI
Another year of Rascal Flatts at Country Jam = another meet and greet with them. The day started out rainy and stormy but ended cloudy and warm. Everytime I see the guys, they keep getting bigger and bigger. This year they finally headlined at Country Jam. But being a headliner also means that there's more people to meet - and I've never seen so many people backstage meeting anyone before!
Meeting #4 with MY girls!
After my 'almost' meet and greet in Cadott earlier in the year, I knew I HAD to meet them when they came to the Wisconsin Valley Fair in Wausau. Through friends online, a bunch of us Patchers (Shedaisy's Message Board) were able to get some passes to meet the girls after the show. I had 4th row seats for the show and got to spend a bunch of time with them after the show. We held up the meet and greet line for a good 10 minutes. I also gave the girls a tour surval kit which they loved.

I read on Trick Pony's website that they'd be at the Pioneer Grill and Saloon in Menomonie. I had been there before for a drawing, but was curious as to how they'd accomidate all the people. Tickets were cheap and it was general admission - standing room only. It was a little chilly out too - would have been better if it were summer... I also really wanted to go to see Trick Pony for the 6th time, which is the most times I've ever met anyone! I gave Ira a picture I took at Country Fest of him with his mom and he loved it - she was there on this night again too!

I read on K102's web site just days before Shedaisy would be doing an album signing at a Wal-mart store in Maple Grove, Minnesota. So I got up early that morning and my niece and I made the 2 hour drive to Maple Grove without getting lost. It was awesome getting to see the girls again, but I didn't the table being up so high. I gave the girls presents again, including some baby gifts for Kelsi's twins!
This was my 5th time meeting Jo Dee and it was great! I always get nervous when I have 2 meet and greets in one day, but it went well. I told Jo Dee when it was my turn that it was my birthday the day before. So when she signed my album cover, she wrote 'Happy Birthday'. Jo Dee is always so nice and takes special time with each fan. While waiting to meet Jo Dee, I saw John Rich and Two Foot Fred. I said hey to Fred after I met Jo Dee.
When I found out Big & Rich were coming to Country Fest, I was beyond excited! Then the fan club announced that we would be getting meet and greets! Double excitement. I sent in a request to meet the guys at Fest and I was chosen! It was so awesome to finally get my picture taken (after meeting them at the autograph signing in November 2005) with the guys, Cowboy Troy and Fred! They loved my shirt too! It sucked not getting anything autographed, but the polaroid picture that was taken was put in a booklet with their autographs on it.
This was also my 5th time meeting Rascal Flatts! The guys have gotten so big now that their whole meet and greet situation is a huge circus. With different color meet and greet stickers separating fans from "fake" fans. It was crazy, but it's still great getting to see the guys. This is the picture that was taken only for fan club members that was posted online. I look kind of funny, but that's because I was talking to Joe Don. Everyone who met the guys did get a polaroid picture taken with the guys that was signed.
