I've been lucky enough to meet many country singers over the years. Either through fan clubs, winning, or through the good old autograph line-it's always been a neat experience. Below are pictures of me and the stars and a little bit about how I met them.

The RF Meet and Greet took place during Chris Cagle's show at Fest. They had us split up into the different sticker groups (radio, fan club, sponsor and whatever else there were). Only radio and fan club got a picture and an autograph. The other people only got a picture. And I thought fan club should have gone last since we PAY to meet the guys...Joe Don even wished me a happy belated birthday! He read my shirt and I asked "Can I be with the band?" and he said "You are tonight!' Yes. It's confirmed. Joe Don is the greatest!!
Me & Rascal Flatts June 24, 2004 - Cadott, WI
Me & Jessica Andrews June 26, 2004 - Cadott, WI
Got to meet Jessica for the 4th time at Country Fest! Again, I only counted a handful of fan club members but it's all good! I finally got Jessica to sign my 'Now' CD cover and talked to her about posting on her message board (which she said would be getting shut down) and I asked her Marcel (her boyfriend-who rocks!) is doing. She's such a great singer and she deserves to be a big star! I'll be proud to say when that day comes, that I was a fan from the begining!
Me & Trick Pony July 23, 2004 - Eau Claire, WI
We got to Country Jam a little late and luckily we went to the merchandise table because the meet and greet was already going on! So I quickly put on the sticker and made my way backstage! I asked on Trick Pony's message board for everyone to post their get well wishes for Heidi and her husband Bill who were in an accident a few days before the show. I printed them all out and gave them to Heidi. She was very grateful for them and said she coudn't wait to read them all.
Me & Jo Dee Messina July 23, 2004 - Eau Claire, WI
Got to meet Jo Dee for the 4th time at Country Jam. Her meet and greet was during Tracy Byrd - which was OK. I ended up being the 2nd person in line. When she came into the tent she went running to this little boy who she calls her "boyfriend". It was so cool and spontaneous - just like Jo Dee. She tried to sign my picture (lol) and I gave her a present yet again. It as a little lucky penny and she gave me a hug for it! Jo Dee is the coolest!
Me & Brian McComas July 25, 2004 - Eau Claire, WI
The last day of Jam was the day of George (Strait that is), but I was equally excited to see Brian McComas. We heard before his show that he'd be signing autographs after his show and since I always come prepared with an album cover, I had to meet him. It was really hot waiting in line, but worth it. Didn't have enough time to talk to Brian, but he's a cool guy and he's gonna make it big. You can quote me on that one! :)
Me & Josh Turner August 30, 2004 - St. Paul, MN
My mom won tickets (and a trolley ride there) to see Neal McCoy and Josh Turner at the Minnesota State Fair. We hadn't been to the fair since 1996, so we were excited to go. Josh put on a great show and he was better than at Fest, probably because it wasn't raining! After his show, he was signing autographs. As he signed my ticket stub, my mom said "Josh" then "Dana", we both looked and she took the picture. They weren't happy that we did that (took a picture), but it was already done. :)
We bought seats for Chris Cagle right when they went on sale and got FRONT ROW yet again for the Central WI State Fair! The local station had their tailgate party contest again and I won, again! I won the first time that they played the special "Cagle touchtones"! We didn't get to spend a lot of time with Chris because he had to get over to the regular meet and greet, but it was still cool to get an autograph and a picture with him yet again. I think it turned out better than the last one!
Me & Chris Cagle September 1, 2004 - Marshfield, WI
Me & Blue County June 23, 2005 - Cadott, WI
I had seen Blue County once before, but didn't get in line to meet them because I didn't have anything for them to sign. So this time when the guys came to Country Fest, I made sure to bring something a long. And sure enough, before they came on stage they announced that the guys would be signing after their show. My mom and I stayed and watched half of their show, then stood in line. I had the guys sign my 2005 Chevy Country Calendar that they were in. They were cool guys!
