I've been lucky enough to meet many country singers over the years. Either through fan clubs, winning, or through the good old autograph line-it's always been a neat experience. Below are pictures of me and the stars and a little bit about how I met them.
Click pictures to enlarge them. :)
This was my lucky #7th time meeting Trick Pony!! It's hard to believe that it's been that many times, but they love coming to Wisconsin! When it was my turn, Heidi said that she loved my shirt (it says One Trick Pony on it). I then told them that it was my 7th time meeting them and Keith gave me a special hand shake. I love Trick Pony and I'll miss Heidi being the lead singer of the band. :(

I didn't think I would be meeting anyone at Country Jam this year because I wasn't in any of the acts fan clubs. Well, I was wrong. Celluar One had a sign up booth on the grounds where you put your name and cell phone number and they would call someone from the stage to win a pair of meet and greet passes. My mom and I signed up the day before and she put my friend's name since she was going to be there on the 21st and my cell phone number. After Darryl Worley, they tried calling someone and I saw that I had 2 voicemails. They announced my friends name and I found out that they had tried calling me earlier and from the stage! After running around trying to find our passes, we got to meet Trace!

Meeting #6 with my girls!
Me & SHeDAISY
August 18, 2006 - Beaver Dam, WI
They announced that Josh would be signing autographs, so I decided to meet him again. It was cool that they actually took pictures this time around. I just wish Josh would have looked up. I did get to ask him if he would be recording anymore of Marcel's songs on the new album and he said, maybe the next one. That album was pushed back, so there could be one or two on there now...
The closest Shedaisy show that I could actually go to was at the Dodge County Fair in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. I wasn't crazy about going all by myself, but I was able to hang out 2 Patchers, Carrie & Steph at the show. They also were there the night before to set up lawn chairs. We had front row seats behind the reserved seats. We also made sure we were last in line when we got to meet the girls. Kristyn really wanted my shirt and they loved the old Osborn Sisters flyer that I had them sign - it was the only thing I had that had Karli in it.

June 21, 2007 - Cadott, WI
I sign up every year at Country Fest to win meet and greet passes for different acts. This was my year! I signed up for Neal McCoy and B-95 picked my name after other "winners" weren't there to claim their prize! I told Neal that it was my birthday and he signed the album cover I brought (always come prepared!) "Happy Birthday Dana". Neal is so cool and very nice to all of his fans!

Through Big & Rich's fan club I was awarded another meet and greet for Country Fest! The guys loved my homemade shirt, but it seemed even more rushed than last time. I didn't like sitting in the chair. I think one of the guys should have sat by me. Maybe have John and Kenny sit on a chair next to you and have Troy and Fred in the back... They gave us pre-signed pictures and they used their camera for the photo.
Me & Rodney Atkins
July 13, 2007 - Chippewa Falls, WI
We weren't sure if Rodney would be signing after his show at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. Some people around us said that he wasn't but we stuck around. And sure enough, he did sign! Rodney was super nice and I told him that I'd seen him twice before in Cadott and that I hope he comes back. He puts on an awesome show and again, he's really nice and super grateful to all of his fans!
Me & Jake Owen
July 21, 2007 - Eau Claire, WI
I love Jake Owen. "Yee Haw" is the #1 played song on my iPod, so I really wanted to meet him. I signed up for a meet and greet at K102's booth, but didn't win. We were walking around when we say that Jake was signing, so I hopped in line! I told Jake that "Yee Haw" was #1 on my iPod and he thought that was really cool! I think we look pretty sweet in our dark shades! LOL
