Welcome to my Poetry Page! Over the years I have written a lot of poetry - and have lost a great deal of my work because of moving, giving them away, and even just absent-mindness on my part! I decided that the best way for me to keep up with all of the poems I still have is to put them on the web. I take my poetry very personally. My heart (and sometimes even my sanity) goes into each word I write. I've been writing since I was 16 years old. I was a Freshman at Kingston High School in Kingston, Oklahoma (and desperately in love with a Senior at that same school) when I first started putting my confusing emotions down on paper. (Wonder what ever happened to Paul?) Once I started, writing became an addiction. Even now, as I finish up my Bachelor's in English at the University of Northern Colorado - I still cannot stop writing poetry. I do welcome feedback and criticism - CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. If you don't like my work because you have a problem with love and the depth of emotion that comes with it - don't e-mail me.
