In High School, my senior year i was President of the Chef's club. I had taken the 2 cooking courses offered. My fave thing to make is Flan. I don't like cheesecake too much, but they're make very similarly/
As far is desi food is concerned, i've tried it, and it turned out very well. Getting the spices together in the perfect ratios is very difficult, so I resort to imported spice mixes from a company called Shaan.
All i need to do is follow the recipes and the creations come out really good. I've made parathas from scratch and have yet to try to make tandoori rotis on a pizza stone. Wish me luck!
We purchased a house in Michigan, the previous owners own a restaurant in downtown Houghton. So i finally got a quality stove!! it's *gasp* a gas stove!! I've been told again and again that gas stoves are much better for cooking. The houses we had in Florida didn't have gas, so i'm really excited. The stove also has a GRILL!!
