Caoimhe, Deirdre

Pen Name: Chewy
E-mail: [email protected]

Character Information

House: Equinis
Full Name: Deirdre Caoimhe
Age: 16
Birthday: May 17
Blood Type: Pure Blood, A
Height: 56

Year: 2

Appearance: After her the first death she experienced, Deirdre didnt make it outside much and even though she would with her grandma, her skin is still pale from lack of sunlight. It just makes her golden locks look all the brighter, which confuses some given her depressed mood half the time. Her eyes are a deep brown, almost black, and seem to never give off any sign of emotion, they just change to quickly for her oculars to keep up with. There isnt much else about her, though her past and personalities are both a bit unordinary, her appearance isnt.

Notable Traits: Bi-Polar

Personality: There are many sides to Dierdre, but the main seem to be the typical happy and sad. She switches between them about ten times a day, thats about every two hours if she stays awake for twenty-four hours, which she usually does. It happens very quickly and takes a little getting used to, they can also be triggered very easily.

Happy is just that, happy. Bliss, joy, you get the picture. Small things make her very excited. This also includes hyperness. In these happy moods, shes literally jumping off the walls. Yes, she runs up to them and jumps off. She has no fear either and has no concept of her physical limitations. Shes attempted to fly once or twice. She also talks to nearly anyone, even the creepiest looking pedophile on the street. While shes like this though, most people cant stand her. Shes just too annoying to want to be around. Of course, her sad times arent much better.

When shes feeling depressed, shes majorly depressed. Either shes moping somewhere in public or sobbing in her room. She also gets very angry very fast and will flip-out at nearly anyone who talks to her, unless she just ignores them completely. She isnt suicidal though, shes never even considered killing herself before. Its not really her thing, shes fine with just being miserable. No one wants to be around her like this either, shes so sad and withdrawn that its, well, annoying. Basically Dierdre is just annoying with her extreme highs and lows. Its very hard to find her in-between, but it does happen.

History: Dierdre was born into a rich, pureblooded family. They were one of the non-proud ones, believe it or not, and they were very happy. They did all that creepy, family stuff like going on vacations and such. Until a tragic incident. Her younger brother, Mathieu, came down with a mysterious disease and perished within a week. The family dive-bombed into tragedy. Her father became very involved with work and was never home anymore, goodbye family trips. The mother never left her room, shed do nothing all day but mope about in there and weep. The girl herself became very secluded and didnt talk much anymore, surprise since she had previously been a chatter box.

But, yes, the history of Dierdre grows worse. A year after her brothers death, her mom committed suicide. It was a gory sight too, she was very thorough. It appeared that she began by taking some Muggle pills she got in town, then wanted to speed things up by slitting her wrists, but something about that must have annoyed her for she went on to attempt to drown herself, but that too didnt suit her liking and she jumped out of the window. The order may not be correct, its only a guess, and somewhere along the line she also stabbed herself in the stomach with a sword. Remarkable how stubborn she was about dieing. As you can probably guess, her father dug deeper into his carrier and Dierdre stopped talking altogether.

And yes kids, theres more. You see, her father had a very mysterious job indeed, so mysterious in fact I would have to kill you if I told you. I dont feel like hunting you down so I just wont tell you. Whatever it was though, it was dangerous. One day he never returned, he wasnt there the next day, nor the next. He just disappeared. His superiors never quite figured out what happened, but after a month of searching they told his now orphaned daughter that he was dead. They found some remains they knew to be him, but thought it was too awful a site for the young girl to see. She never quite got closure because of that. It would already be pretty bad if I ended it there, but Im on a roll now. Her family was very wealthy, or had been before they all croaked. The fortune went off to some deranged, estranged uncle who later spent it all on cats, millions and millions of them. Dierdre luckily was sent to live with her grandparents, on her mothers side. She adored her grandma and always had, but her grandfather was a different story. He was very cranky some might say. Always walking about the house grumbling about this or that, treating his wife and granddaughter like shit. But the girl was happier than she had been in a long while, all thanks to her grandmother. Though she was a little crazy, Dierdre loved her. They would take walks together and see things in the rocks, theyd dance to the music of the wind, and they even made up their own language. She forgot almost all about her depressing, yet entertaining to some, past. But sometimes the memories would come flooding back and shed have a breakdown, usually at night about once a week. In all though, things were well again.

Ha, like Id let this have a happy ending. Her grandmother died after the girl had been living there for a year. She fell off a mountain on a hiking trip. Landed on a big old group of pointed rocks, ripped her to bits. Much to the old mans dislike, Dierdre stayed living with her grandfather. They never spoke to each other and basically avoided communication at all costs. After that final death, she never really was the same. Her moods would switch in the blink of an eye, happy to sad, sad to happy. Bi-polar, one may say. So, to conclude this confusing tale. Dierdre now lives with her cranky grandfather and her cat, the only living thing she still loves. Remarkably, its still alive.

Sports: None
Pet: Cat- Liadan
Her cat seems to be the only constant in her life, though she only received it a year ago from her grandmother. But still, it hasnt died yet. Its very small and fluffy, with big green, doe-like eyes. Its soft fur is a light gray but is usually distorted to some other color from dirt, though dust doesnt make an appearance, it being gray and all. There is one small problem to the feline though, it has a thing for catnip and Dierdre doesnt mind supplying it. She even grows a plant of it in her room. Yes, it seems Liadan is always tripping on kitty-crack. Walking into walls, chasing shadows, amazing shes still alive, especially looking at Dierdres history of death.

Theme Song: "Imaginary" -Evanescence.
