Arde-Puravida, Carmen
Pen Name: Hisui
Character Information
Appearance: Scrawny and naturally tan, Carmen has a
cute and charming face. Her dark, almost black, eyes
are overshadowed by lush and long doll-like eyelashes.
She compulsively changes her hair style whenever she
feel the urge.
History: Carmen was raised in Seville, Spain under her father,
Cervantes, and mother, Mercedes. When she turned 7,
her parents let her run with the bulls every year.
Developing a very hardy and determined nature, it
pumped her up later for Jedaiger training (she thought
Quidditch too innocent.) Her father owned the bar "El
Mundo es un Panuelo" and taught her how to mix drinks.
Her margaritas kick serious ass with no magic
necessary to enhance their taste. She became a big
hit at parties in her teenage years, but a very
indifferent bartender. Mercedes made wands and showed
her daughter the strengths and weaknesses of the the
different combinations. Carmen and her family moved
from Spain to America when she was 17 and enrolled her
immediately in Shastina.
Personality: She was the only child in a rich family with a happy
childhood. Because of that, she doesn't sympathize
easily with others and she has a little quirky side
that sets her apart from communicating effectively
with others, not to mention the language barrier that
increases the difficulty. Nevertheless, she manages
to get others to understand what she's saying one way
or another. Even with their pure blood, Carmen's
parents were extremely conservative in using magic,
saving it for the most necessary and critical times.
Carmen uses magic scarcely, sometimes reluctantly,
only exercising it in practice.
