Is Thanksgiving an appropriate national holiday?
      
For the next week, you will investigate how the Pilgrims came upon Plymouth, Massachusetts,  why they left their homeland and how their arrival affected the Native People  in the region.     
Souvenirs
During your daily trips you will collect "souvenirs" of your journey.  When you have completed your trip, you will present your "souvenirs"  and share your answer to the focus question.
There is no right or wrong answer to the question, however, you must support your decision.




Before  you start your trip, please look over the rubric.    Here are the Writing Rubric and the Presentation Rubric that we designed the first week of school.  We will make a few adjustments to make them fit our Criteria Charts we develop for this field trip.  It is important that you understand  what is expected of you from these assignments.  If you have any questions,  it is you responsibility to get them answered.
