What happened to my Dad

When he shook me, he was charged with Aggravated Child Abuse by willful torture. They said that meant that he had been hurting me before he shook me that day. They said that my legs and arm had been twisted to the point that I had spiral fractures. He had also shook me before and had broken my ribs. All of my prior injuries had not been noticed. My doctor did not even notice the injuries when I visited him. But, when I went to the hospital after he shook me on 10/5/96, they found all the injuries. I don't know why my dad did this to me. I hope he never hurts any more children.

The Judge said to my dad that if the Florida legislature had realized that Shaken Baby Syndrome was so devastating and that it had the potential to inflict the outcome like happened to me, that they would have made the punishment a death sentence.
Michael Dubisky is due to be released from prison on 3/24/2006. Given the fact that Christian died from complications due to shaken baby syndrome, the State of Florida may be pursuing a Murder charge against Michael.
