I walked through the narrow corridors from Monastiraki square up to the Acropolis and down the other side.There were many people from many different countries and that was something new to me, to walk amonst such diversity of people. There were many small shops along the path and at one such shop I stopped, put on the warriors helmet and took my picture. (see above)
On Tuesday I went to watch a Beach Volleyball match at Faliro Olympic Stadium. (see below center) I love volleyball, and beach volleyball is my favourite. I particularly like to watch women's beach volley!!! hehehehe
When there were time-outs during the game, cheerleaders rushed out to the court and danced sensesially to entertain the audience.There well-tuned,muscular,slim bodies made my heart pound with every beat of their moves.I took lots of pictures of them, even video clips with my mobile,but I won't be posting any on my website.
On Wednesday, all I had time for, was to go to the post office and mail several postcards to friends and relatives.Once I did that,I got my bags,said my bye byes to everyone and left for the airport to catch my flight home.
It was truly a memorable experience and I wish I had more time to stay there but I had to return to Cyprus were I was to meet up with friends and go on our holidays in Ayia Napa.
