I also graduated from The Grammar School, Nicosia on June 1999 and joined the military that summer to serve my army duty in the Mobile Infantry until July 2001 when I was discharged to begin my studies.
Parallel to my studies at Cyprus College, I was employeed as an IT Technitian at Spyros Stavrinides Ltd company for 2 1/2 years, whose headquarters are located Pallouriotissa, Nicosia. Now I am working at the Statistical Service of the Ministry of Finance in Nicosia.
I moved into my very own appartment in Pallouriotissa in March'05, near the BMH area,where I'm enjoying an independent life as a young bachelor.
I often organize DVD nights at my appartment with friends or hang out at some of the finest cafe/bars/clubs in Cyprus to have a drink and enjoy a decent conversation and socialization with my peers. I am not married, not engaged in any way, so I like to devote a lot of my time to friends and good company.
Exercising regularly at the "Maxx Fitness & Beauty" in Aglantzia is my favourite activity, for I am a firm believer of good health and keeping our bodies fit!!! I do not smoke, do not drink excessively, nor take any drugs...never have, never will!!!
Since February 2006, I've started attending Latin dance lessons at Shiakallis Dance School in Nicosia, since dancing has always facinated me from a very young age. It's also another form of exercise combined with a lot of fun and enjoyment, so that works double for me!!! It has become my passion in life and I rarely miss any opportunity to go to every latin party that is organized in Cyprus!
I enjoy the company of people with a good sense of humor, decent dressing style, and honorable,sincere character. Women are my weakness for I cannot resist the temptation to buy an attractive woman a drink if I sense that she meets the 3 basic criteria I've just mentioned.
Some nights when I do not feel like going out, I choose to stay home alone, surf the Internet and check for emails. From time to time I connect with the MSN Messenger program in order to communicate easily with old classmates who are studying abroad. Any form of human communication (written and verbal) is intreeging to me, if it helps me get to know people better and communicate with them.
Throughout my years in highschool, the army, college and currently at my work, I met several desieptfull and hypocritic individuals who helped me understand that not all things in life are rozy, and that I should never completely trust strangers unless they first proove themselves to me. However, I've also had the fortune to meet several interesting people who have influenced my life in a positive way.
Two such people are Andreas and Christos whom I have the privillege of reffering to as my best friends. They have always been there for me.In good times we laugh and fool around but when bad times trouble one of us, the other 2 are always willing to devote their efforts in helping their friend in need.True friendship is hard to find, and I am lucky to have two such friends. I really believe that true friendships are stonger than relationships, because they can last forever, whereas relationships are usually short-term, unfortunately (in this I am not only speaking from personal experience).
