| Greece hosted the XXVIII Olympic Games in Athens in August 2004 and I was there the get a small taste of this great event. My trip to Greece began on Friday the 13th, the openning day of the Games, at which time I traveled to Thessaloniki, and ended on Wednesday the 18th when I flew back to Cyprus from Athens.It was a memorable vacation for me so it deserves a place in my website so that you can also get a glimps of all the things I saw and did during my stay there. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The first part of my journey was to visit my long life friend, Marios who is currently living and working in Thessaloniki.He hosted me at his appartment situated near the magnificent White Tower of Thessaloniki and together we spend the weekend going shopping, touring the city and admiring the pretty girls of Thessaloniki while drinking our coffee at the coastal cafes. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| These two lovely girls were drinking shampaign the night we went to Bo Cafe, a high class coastal joint, very popular in Thessaloniki. Marina and Elena were their names as I later found out, when Marios and I sat with them and talked a bit.I found out that Greek women are easier to talk to and they are very pleasant even with total strangers...unlike most Greek-Cypriot women!!! ----> | |
